Rockstar has released few GTA 6 videos, and each one became an event. This guide lists every official video in order, with what each one revealed. All of them are on Rockstar's official YouTube channel and on the media page of the GTA VI website.

Trailer 1: December 2023

The first trailer introduced Lucia, Vice City and the Florida-inspired state of Leonida, with social media clips that satirize the region's news. The soundtrack was Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road." The video leaked the day before and Rockstar moved its release up; it went on to break YouTube's 24-hour view records.

Trailer 2: May 2025

The second trailer focused on the duo of Jason and Lucia and showed more of the story, set to the Pointer Sisters' "Hot Together." Alongside it, Rockstar revamped the official site with pages for the characters and the regions of Leonida. At the time, the game was scheduled for May 26, 2026, a date later pushed to November 19.

Character videos

The official media page collects short clips, including a video dedicated to Jason Duval, another to Lucia Caminos and the animated official cover art. They are short videos without gameplay that help introduce the protagonists.

An Extended Look: August 27, 2026

The first long gameplay showcase runs just under half an hour and was captured on a standard PlayStation 5. It premiered on Netflix and was posted on YouTube hours later. The video shows switching between Jason and Lucia during action, the new driving physics, third-person shootouts and a long stretch of exploring Vice City. The details are in our article on the Extended Look.

What about Trailer 3?

As of this guide's latest update, Rockstar has not announced a third trailer. The company's track record points to a launch trailer close to November 19, as we explain in "GTA 6 Trailer 3: why it hasn't dropped yet". This guide will be updated as soon as a new video is released.

Where to watch in high quality

  • Rockstar Games' official YouTube channel: every trailer and the Extended Look, in up to 4K.
  • GTA VI media page: the official videos and clips, with a download option.

Avoid reuploads on other channels, which tend to have lower quality and sometimes subtitles with wrong information.
