The GTA 6 launch trailer also brought a big confirmation for the game's music: French duo Justice, Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, is composing the original score. The first taste is "Flower in a Hurricane," released on Thursday, October 15, with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The track will be on "Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album," the game's official album, which has 34 new songs and is out November 19, the same day as the game.
Justice on the original score
The confirmation is on the trailer page of Rockstar's own website, which presents the song as the debut from "original score composers" Justice. According to Resident Advisor, the single came out on Ed Banger Records, the duo's home label, and details of a score-only album are still to be announced.
The partnership with Tame Impala is not new. Kevin Parker's project was already featured on "Neverender," from the 2024 album "Hyperdrama," a track that won Justice a Grammy for Best Electronic Recording, as Resident Advisor and SPIN point out.
The original score is different from the radio. It accompanies cutscenes and missions, while the radio stations play licensed music and shows, as we explain in our GTA 6 radio stations guide.
