Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, announced on October 13 that it will report results for its fiscal second quarter on Monday, November 9, 2026, after the U.S. market closes. The conference call with analysts starts at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. It is the company's last earnings report before November 19, the launch date of GTA 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
What was announced
The official release is a scheduling notice: it only gives the date, the time and the period covered. The results will cover the quarter ended September 30, 2026, the second of the company's fiscal year 2027, which runs from April 2026 to March 2027. As usual, the call will be streamed live and archived on the investor relations section of Take-Two's website.
The date falls ten days before GTA 6 arrives. That makes the presentation likely the last time Take-Two chairman and CEO Strauss Zelnick and the leadership team speak publicly to the market before launch.
What we already know about the numbers
GTA 6 sales will not be part of this report, since the quarter ended almost two months before launch. The game's impact should only show up in the following report, covering October to December.
Take-Two has already given hints of what it expects. In its first-quarter report, released on August 7, the company projected for the second quarter:
- Net bookings (the metric Take-Two watches most closely) between $1.62 billion and $1.67 billion;
- Revenue between $1.42 billion and $1.47 billion;
- Net loss between $140 million and $157 million.
For the full fiscal year, the company maintained its net bookings outlook of $8.0 billion to $8.2 billion, driven mainly by the launch of GTA 6. In the first quarter, net bookings came in at $1.39 billion, slightly above Take-Two's own guidance.
Why the date matters for GTA 6 fans
Take-Two's earnings calls have long been one of the few occasions when the company talks officially about Rockstar's schedule. That is where analysts usually ask about timing, pre-orders and expectations, and the quarterly reports are where the company reaffirms or changes its dates.
In practice, if there were any change to the schedule, the November 9 presentation would be the natural place for it. So far, Take-Two has given no sign of a change: in the August report, Zelnick directly mentioned the November 19 launch of GTA 6. We have already explained why the recent delay rumors have no official confirmation.
What is still unknown
- Whether Take-Two will share any GTA 6 pre-order figures. Nothing has been promised.
- Whether there will be anything about the PC version. A GamesBeat report says it would arrive in the first quarter of 2027, but Rockstar has not confirmed it (see what we know about GTA 6 on PC).
- Whether the company will adjust its $8.0 billion to $8.2 billion outlook for the year.
Portal GTA 6 will follow the presentation and report what Take-Two says about the game. Meanwhile, the countdown continues: see how long until GTA 6.
