Leonida is Rockstar's take on Florida, and Vice City is only one part of it. This guide gathers everything the company has officially presented on the game's website and in the two trailers, with no rumors.
The regions of Leonida
| Region | Inspired by | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Vice City | Miami | The metropolis: Vice Beach, art deco, nightlife, beaches and the financial district. |
| Leonida Keys | Florida Keys | A chain of islands linked by bridges, with boats, diving and smuggling. |
| Grassrivers | Everglades | Swamps, airboats, alligators and backwoods hideouts. |
| Port Gellhorn | Gulf Coast / Panhandle | A run-down beach town with motels, biker bars and drug trafficking. |
| Ambrosia | Rural interior (Lake Okeechobee) | A sugar mill, a small town and countryside crime. |
| Mount Kalaga | North Florida | A national park with forest, lakes and trails; the map's "wild" area. |
